I’ve always had an interest in how our human brain works and why we do the things we do. What causes differences in our personalities, behaviors, learning styles and needs? 

Nature vs. Nurture? Definitely a combination!

 

I studied Child Growth and Development and was an Early Educator for 10+ years.

I learned about Bambini through the grapevine and thought to myself, “That’s where I want to teach!”

 

Life led me on a different path though. I changed directions and headed towards pediatrics. I was a Nurse Assistant at Children’s Mercy Hospital for 5 years. 

 

That brings us to the Pandemic when I entered motherhood. What a time! I was fortunate enough to become a stay at home mom. It was my turn to give my child and growing family what I had given to so many others prior. 

 

When I was pregnant with my second, we had a wild opportunity and took it! We became full time Air-Streamers for 3 years. A special love for the natural world and creativity was amplified within my children. We still have our “tiny house” and love to road trip when time allows. Tent camping was fun pre kids but glamping is the way to go now!

 

When my kids entered their school age years, Bambini crossed my path again. It is such a privilege to be here as a parent, but now, with honors as an educator.
