Kristi Hanson is a Board-Certified Music Therapist with over a decade of experience working with children of all ages and abilities. She earned her degree in Music Therapy from The University of Kansas, along with a minor in Psychology. Her passion for child development began during her time as a preschool teacher and continued through her internship at a private practice in California, where she provided music therapy services in both group and individual settings. Kristi owns Stepping Stones KC, a local resource for parents and teachers- providing music therapy, instrument lessons, and music enrichment groups to children in KS and MO.

Kristi was drawn to Bambini for its play-based, child-centered approach and strong focus on relationships—values that align closely with her own. In addition to her professional work, Kristi is a mom to two young boys, which she considers the most important and fulfilling role in her life. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, traveling, reading, exploring nature, planning, playing games, and participating in kickball.
