Ciao amici and Bambini family! My name is Ms. Serena.

I first had the opportunity to get involved with Bambini Creativi in December 2020. I provided after-school care for amici through the spring of 2022. During that time, I fell in love with Bambini Creativi’s approach to learning and discovered a passion for working with children. Despite coming from a family of teachers, I had never considered becoming one myself. Bambini changed that for me!

After graduating from St. Thomas Aquinas High School, I continued my education at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. At Truman, I completed a self-designed interdisciplinary studies major exploring education, child development, and psychology. I am very excited to be returning to Bambini with additional knowledge and teaching experience.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, photography, and painting. I also love spending time with my cat, Luna, and my horse, Dandy.
